DAY 1 — HANOI → SAPA → Y LINH HO → LAO CHAI → TA VAN (L, D) 06:00 – 06:30 — Hotel pickup in Hanoi Old Quarter
- Meet at your hotel. Transfer to the bus meeting point if needed.
07:00 — Depart Hanoi for Sapa by big bus (via Noi Bai – Lao Cai highway)
- Scenic drive through northwest mountains and terraced fields.
- Short comfort break (~30 minutes) en route.
12:30 — Arrive Sapa Town
- Bus stops at No.3 Fansipan Street. Guide meets you holding a sign with your name.
- Transfer to our office for welcome drink, itinerary briefing and hotel check-in (if early check-in available).
- Lunch with local Vietnamese dishes (included).
14:00 — Start trek: Y Linh Ho → Lao Chai → Ta Van (approx. 12 km)
- Trek begins on small trails down Muong Hoa Valley.
- Visit Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai (Black H’Mong): observe daily life, traditional weaving, indigo dyeing, stilt houses.
- Walk across the valley’s famous rice terraces — excellent photography spots and panoramic views.
- Continue to Ta Van (Giay/Dzay people): explore village, visit local homes, learn about customs and crafts.
Late afternoon (~17:00) — Return to Sapa town
- Transfer by jeep/van back to Sapa.
- Dinner at hotel (included).
- Overnight at 3★ hotel with mountain-view room, A/C, elevator, balcony.
DAY 2 — SAPA → MA TRA → TA PHIN → HANOI (B, L)
07:00 – 08:00 — Breakfast at hotel (included) 09:00 – 09:30 — Transfer to Ma Tra village (by car/jeep)
- Short drive (~5 km) from Sapa to village start point.
09:30 – 12:00 — Trek Ma Tra (Red Dao)
- Trek ~9 km through Ma Tra: rice terraces, mountain views, visit local school and Red Dao homes. 12:00 – 12:30 — Picnic lunch in the countryside (included)
13:00 – 14:00 — Walk to Ta Phin Village
- 2-hour walk across hamlets of Black H’Mong and Red Dao; visit local houses and caves.
- Opportunity to learn differences in culture, see textile work, and optional herbal/medicinal bath (extra).
14:00 — Transfer from Ta Phin to Sapa to board bus to Hanoi 16:00 — Depart Sapa for Hanoi by bus 21:30 — Arrive Hanoi Old Quarter — tour ends
